The Triad Livestock Arena
was built in 2002. The arena is a 23,000 sq ft indoor arena. It has a
connecting 120 stall barn with a covered shelter from the arena to the
barns, it was built to host many livestock events.
At its grand opening, it
hosted the Roundman Association Bull Riding Finals.
Since its opening it has
hosted the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) for its wild horse and burro
adoption.
The Triad Cowboy Church has
had a Cowboy Stampede featuring multiple events and singing including bull
riding, all this at free admission.
The arena also has had
horse shows. The Pinto Paso Fino Association has had shows at the arena, and
the Quarter Horse Association has had shows.
The Triad Livestock Arena
currently has horse sales on the first Saturday of each month. Although the
arena is available for rent it stays busy almost all year.
